The Housekeeper

The housekeeper is in charge of the various maids and other servants of the White House under the Chief Usher. The Housekeeper's reception room is about 12 feet square. The Housekeeper's office is about 14 1/2 feet by 12 feet..

For the first century of its life, this area was part of the servants' quarters.
